The Institute for Agricultural and Agro-Industrial Product Research and Development, Kasetsart University, operates specialized analytical laboratories equipped with both basic and advanced analytical instruments, along with a team of experienced experts ready to provide testing and analysis services for various types of biomass raw materials. These services cover physical properties, chemical composition, and biological activities, categorized as follows:

• Raw materials for energy applications – Currently, the KU Biomass Laboratory is ISO 17025 certified for the analysis of biomass fuel properties and related products.

• Lignocellulosic raw materials – For utilization in natural pulp and fiber production, with testing of chemical and physical properties conducted according to international standards.

• Primary components such as proteins, fats, and carbohydrates, as well as secondary metabolites derived from agricultural biomass, natural sources, or medicinal herbs, in both raw and extract forms. These analyses support the utilization of active and functional compounds in health and cosmetic products.
